voorburg - De koersen van Ne
derlandse aandelen zijn in het
tweede kwartaal met 14,7 pro
cent gestegen, het hoogste ren
dement in een kwartaal na
1999. De effectenbeurs in Am
sterdam presteerde beter dan
het wereldgemiddelde. Dat
blijkt uit cijfers van het Centraal
Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS).
De Nederlandse aandelenmarkt
veerde in april tot en met juni
op, nadat in het eerste kwartaal
nog een van de grootste koers
dalingen in de geschiedenis op
het scorebord was gekomen.
Op 18 juni bereikte de CBS-
koersindex de hoogste stand
van de afgelopen maanden.
Daarna trad een koersdaling in.
Gucci blijft net
uit rode cijfers
Amsterdam - Luxe-goederen-
concem Gucci is in het eerste
kwartaal maar net in de zwarte
cijfers gebleven. De nettowinst
viel terug van 35,5 miljoen euro
naar 1,2 miljoen euro. De fabri
kant van kleding, tassen, zon
nebrillen en andere luxe goede
ren zegt veel last te hebben ge
had van de uitbraak van de
longziekte SARS en de oorlog in
Irak. Gucci haalt veel omzet in
toeristische oorden. Juist op die
plekken kwamen veel minder
mensen door SARS en door de
Oorlog. Bovendien maakte de
sterke euro Europa flink duur
der voor toeristen uit andere re
gio's.
Getronics krijgt
miljoenenlening
Amsterdam - Automatiseerder
Getronics krijgt een nieuwe le-
-tiing van 100 miljoen euro van
de banken ABN Amro, ING en
Barclays. De nieuwe lening ver
vangt een bestaande kredietfa
ciliteit van 200 miljoen euro. Fi
nancieel directeur Wagenaar
Beeft al eerder aangegeven een
nieuw krediet te willen, dat Ge
tronics meer armslag biedt. Zo
mocht Getronics 75 miljoen eu
ro alleen gebruiken voor de fi
nanciële herstructurering van
het bedrijf. Daarnaast betaalde
Getronics zijn obligatiehouders,
volgens afspraak, maandag 325
miljoen euro. De contante be
maling is onderdeel van een
overeenkomst waarbij Getro
nics twee obligatieleningen tot
september 2008 met kwartaal
stortingen afbouwt.
AND haalt
6 miljoen op
Rotterdam - AND International
Publishers heeft de uitgifte van
nieuwe aandelen succesvol af
gerond. Dat maakte de produ
cent van elektronische wegen
kaarten vandaag bekend. AND
heeft 1,3 miljoen nieuwe aan
delen uitgegeven tegen een
prijs van 5 euro. De bruto-op-
brengst is 6 miljoen euro. AND
gebruikt de opbrengst om de
totale schuld van ongeveer 5,1
piiljoen euro aan grootaandeel
houder Roosland Beheer af te
lossen. AND gebruikt de rest
van de opbrengst volgens een
woordvoerder als buffer. AND
sluit met de geslaagde emissie,
naar eigen zeggen, een roerige
periode af. Het bedrijf is nu
schuldenvrij. Het verwacht dit
jaar winst te maken.

Italiaanse industriële concern
Fiat verkoopt zijn lucht- en
ruimtevaartdivisie FiatAvio.
Voor 1,5 miljard euro komt het
in handen van de Amerikaanse
investeringsbank Carlyle Group
en Finmeccanica, een defensie
bedrijf dat door de Italiaanse
sjtaat wordt gecontroleerd.
Fiat is bezig diverse onderdelen
af te stoten om zijn schulden
last te verlichten. In maart ver
kocht het concern zijn verzeke
ringspoot voor 2,4 miljard euro.
Het bedrijf zit diep in de pro
blemen door de slechte resulta
ten bij zijn autodivisie. Het
boekte de afgelopen twee jaar
^verlies. Vorige week kondigde
de directie een nieuwe reorga
nisatie aan die meer dan 12.000
mensen hun baan gaat kosten.
FiatAvio is een van meest
winstgevende onderdelen van
Fiat. Voor de overname wordt
een nieuwe onderneming op
gericht die voor 70 procent ei
gendom is van Carlyle en voor
30 procent van staatsbedrijf
Finmeccanica. Ze betalen de
1,5 miljard euro door een le
ning af te sluiten en met eigen
aandelen. Eind dit jaar moet de
Eerkoop zijn afgerond.
In de fabrieken en onderzoeks
centra van FiatAvio werken
^rheer dan 5000 mensen. Er wor
sen onder meer startmotoren
Voor de Europese Ariane-5-ra-
jket gemaakt. Ook produceert
FiatAvio onderdelen voor bur
gervliegtuigen, militaire toestel
len en helikopters. Vorig jaar
maakte FiatAvio een omzet van
^,5 miljard euro.

VAN DE BEURSVLOER
De effectenbeurzen in Europa
zijn vanochtend opgeveerd na
een dag van vooral verlies. Zij
lieten zich inspireren door Wall
Street dat, ondanks tegenval
lende cijfers over economisch
herstel, winst pakte.
In Amsterdam bereikte de AEX-
index na twee uur handel een
stand van 290,90 punten. Dat is
5,79 punten of twee procent
meer dan het slot van gisteren.
De financiële aandelen bleken
koopwaardig. Zo steeg ABN
Amro 3 en Aegon 2 procent.
Ook in Londen, Parijs en Frank
furt gingen de belangrijkste in
dices meer dan 1 procent om
hoog. In de Europese valuta-
handel zakte de euro iets, van
1,1570 dollar dinsdagmiddag
tot 1,1552. In ponden sterling
daalde de eurokoers van 0,6965
naar 0,6940. De koersen op de
beurs in Tokyo sprongen van
daag ook stevig omhoog. Beleg
gers putten moed uit de omme
keer op Wall Street. De Nikkei-
DOLLAR IN EURO
index sloot met een winst van
313,75 punten, of 3,4 procent,
tot 9592,24.
De overige beurzen in het Verre
Oosten waren minder eufo
risch. In Hong Kong steeg de
Hang Seng-index 0,3 procent.
De belangrijkste beursgraad-
meter in Zuid-Korea sloot 1,6
procent hoger. In Australië
daalden de koersen zelfs met
0,2 procent.
