Echte liefde. Bestaat het nog? In
een tijd dat het scheidingsper
centage volgens onderzoeken
één op drie is, zou je denken van niet.
En liefde op het eerste gezicht? Dat is
iets uit de film. Met ex-en heb je ru
zie, en uit het oog uit het hart. Weinig
romantisch, wel de realiteit. Maar in
Memories is er nog plek voor die ech
te liefde.
Die ene persoon die je nooit bent ver
geten. Ouden van dagen vinden el
kaar terug. De één schreef presenta
trice Anita Witzier, de ander wordt
opgespeurd. Los van elkaar halen ze
herinneringen op om elkaar daarna,
na een eeuwigheid, weer in de armen
te vliegen.
Mier- en mierzoet is de show. Niet in
de laatste plaats door de aanwezig
heid van de Memories-band in de
studio, die op kwijlerige wijze loves-
ongs produceert. En Anita's meewari
ge hondenblik in de camera creëert
een kotserig gevoel. En aLs Anita op
begeleiding van de Memories-band
een gedicht van wijlen Annie M.G
Schmidt voorleest is het feest hele
maal compleet. Bléh.
Maar eerlijk is eerlijk, de verhalen van
de 'oudjes' zijn hartverwarmend. Zfj
