Nieuw Economisch Peil

Het begint er steeds meer
op te lijken dat de auto-in
dustrie uit ons land zal ver
dwijnen. Nederland is sim
pelweg te duur. Oorzaak
zijn de hoge lonen. Eerder
gebeurde hetzelfde in de
scheepsbouw en de textiel
industrie. Daarbij gaat ook
nog iets anders verloren:
kennis. En dat terwijl eco
nomen roepen dat Neder
land zich moet richten op
de 'kennis-economie'.
A plane is born (2) (Dis
covery, 20.30 uur): Je eigen
vliegtuig bouwen. Het lijkt
een onmogelijkheid, maar
toch is dit het centrale the
ma in deze vijfüendelige
reeks. Presentator Mark
Evans sleutelt daarin aan

Zo gaan de gesprekken in
